FOUNDER
Michaela Cancel is a successful developer with 20 years of experience in developing diverse commercial and residential real estate projects. Her portfolio spans public-private partnerships, market-rate affordable developments, and affordable homeownership initiatives.
With a strong expertise in delivering innovative and creative solutions in commercial real estate, Michaela excels at navigating the complexities of large-scale projects. She brings a comprehensive approach to project management, blending her entrepreneurial spirit with skills in operations, accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, asset management, and portfolio management.
Michaela has served as Senior Vice President at a commercial real estate company in Washington, DC, and previously was a Project Manager at many other prestigious commercial real estate firms or divisions.
Michaela holds a BA from the University of West Florida as well as her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Michaela is an active member of the Forbes Business Council, PMI, ULI, DCBIA & CREW.
Originally from Florida, Michaela has traveled the world thanks to her father's service in the United States Air Force. With an upbringing that honored and valued both her Puerto Rican and Irish heritage, she appreciates and respects cultural diversity.
